Volunteering Northumberland can offer assistance to any volunteer involving organisation - whether you are a small local group, a branch of a large national or a statutory organisation.  For the range of services we offer see below:

Helping you find volunteers

 We can assist with the  recruitment and basic selection of volunteers. We can publicise your volunteer opportunities to the volunteers that we meet face to face or online through do-it.org.uk website.

Helping you to involve volunteers

We can work with you to help indentify volunteering roles and write role descriptions.

Good practice development  and volunteer management

We  offer advice, information and training on good practice when working with, and selecting volunteers. We have also produced a good practice guide that outlines the basic principles of good practice and includes sample policies and other useful resources.

Volunteer Co-ordinators Forum
Every quarter Volunteering Northumberland organises a volunteer co-ordinators forum which offers networking, informal training and peer support to anyone responsible for managing or supporting volunteers in Northumberland.
